Sims 3 constantly freezing

Webb7 nov. 2015 · Hi there, I've managed to play The Sims 3 on Vista, 7, 8 and 8.1 pretty successfully. However I upgraded to Windows 10 a few days ago and cannot play more than 20 minutes of gameplay before the game crashes to the desktop with the vague "Windows is checking to find a solution" box that immediately closes the game.

Once you're there go to the compatibility tab and change the format that the game runs in.
