WebMay 22, 2024 · Thetis was built in 1961 as a research vessel for Fiskeristyrelsen (the Fisheries Agency) but was in 1982 sold and converted to a fishing vessel. The ship wrecked in 1985 on its way home after a fishing trip. No person on board died during the wreckage. The shipwreck is located at a depth of 30 meters outside of Kungshamn, Sweden.
